Fractional outside general counsel for national company for matters involving consumer notices, licensing, and other regulatory matters.

Support Startup in creating personalized contracts for Client Service, Maintenance, Employee Manuals, NDA's, Employee training to manage risk as they grow their operations. 

Defended multi-family business against charges of discrimination by a former tenant with the Iowa Civil Rights Commission.

Represented multiple regulated entities in Enforcement Actions with state regulator defending against allegations of unlicensed conduct and/ or conduct resulting in revocation of licenses. Negotiated public Cease and Desist Orders.  

Through lobbying efforts before legislators at Iowa Statehouse, defeated proposed bill that would have increased cost of doing business. Efforts included coalition building, grassroots advocacy, and legislator communications regarding intricate issues.
